MCC Napa Achieves Sustainability Distinctions
MCC is Back-to-Back JD Fullner Recycling Leadership Award Recipient!
For the second consecutive year, The County of Napa awarded MCC Napa with the JD Fullner Recycling Leadership Award. This award recognizes MCC’s waste reduction and recycling efforts. Award recipients include community members that successfully make waste diversion an integral part of their operations.
MCC demonstrates a strong commitment to green initiatives through its internal recycling audits, establishment of the Sustainability Committee, dedicated waste sorting, and the introduction of composting.
MCC is a certified Napa County Green Business!
The Napa County Green Business certification of MCC Napa is made possible by the company’s commitment to reduce, reuse, and recycle and by implementing green initiatives throughout the facility.
The Napa County Green Business Program certifies businesses that operate in an environmentally-responsible manner. The program, part of the California Green Business Network, certifies small and medium-sized businesses throughout Napa County who actively conserve energy and water, minimize waste, prevent pollution, and shrink their carbon footprint.
MCC Renews its Forest Stewardship Council Accreditation
MCC recently renewed its Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) accreditation after passing a third-party audit of its adherence to the program. FSC is an organization that ensures and promotes responsible forest management for the benefit of future generations. At MCC Napa, we print on many FSC certified papers that offer our customers sustainable packaging options.
